WOW! I'm first to post a comment!

What a thought-provoking list of questions. But here's a question for you: are people weary (tired) of foreigners, or are they in fact wary (openly distrustful and unwilling to confide) of them? Or maybe both?

"What affects men sharply about a foreign nation is not so much finding or not finding familiar things; it is rather not finding them in the familiar place." – G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) English essayist, novelist, journalist, poet

Gravatar How good it is to have got you blogging again. Now keep it up!

It's fun reading what expats have to say about their new circumstances.

That book, 'The Jews of Namibia' sounds interesting.

Gravatar Thanks for the tag Dawn - I was looking for something a bit more uplifting to post
I had to think quite hard on some of them to come up with different answers - a good few of yours would apply to me too.
But I'm rambling.
It's nice to see you back.

Gravatar To all expats
Never stop giving what you do best, which is to let all who know that the world is a wonderful place full of wonderful people who want to learn about their new home and educate their new friends on where they are from.

D and I have moved a lot in the last couple of decades and we have learned so much from all the people we have met. We have made friends along the way who we will cherish always and I hope that we will continue to expand our horizons on the continued friendships of our fellow human beings.

To all thise places that have no snow, I will be there soon........
give me sun, give me beach give me tequila in the heat wooohoooo
