Damn, you have Fruit and Fibre over there! I can't find it in the US any more.
I don't recall any books I had as a baby, but I have TONS of them still for the boys. We had lots of Dr. Seuss of course, and many Barney books (sigh). And we did get the classic Where the Wild Things Are. The boys were also very fond of The Very Hungry Cattipilar. At Baby Mogul's age, we just made sure the books were washable as they either ate them or drooled on them. Trying to learn to read via osmosis and all.
Oh, and Baby Mogul is tres cute! I bet he gets his good looks from his mom.

OMG your baby is SO CUTE! :)
I was (and still am) a big fan of the books. My favorite when I was little was Snoopy Come Home. I made my mother read it over and over. I'm a beleiver in starting that reading early. Thanks for the tip on the book, I actually have a shower this weekend...I may have to look for that one.
Happy Reading :)

Your baby is quite obviously both amazingly handsome (possibly the 4th most handsome lad in the world) and gifted!
He'll go far!

He is adorable! And so well-learned already! Enjoy it while he's reading that cute little book. The next thing you know he'll be sneaking Playboy mazagines into his room...

Dr. Seuss is the bomb. When Mack was a babe, I'd read anything and everything to him. You could read him the phone book and it would be cool because it's your voice.
And of course he's cute - he takes after his mom. ;)
Have a good weekend!

My favorite book to read to the kids was "Love You Forever" But since I am a book junkie - I have read so many thousands of books to the kids, I can only remember a few of their favorites as babies. Including "The B Book" from Dr. Seuss. "Big Brown. Big Brown Bear. Big brown bear, blue bull. Big brown bear, blue bear, beautiful babboon. Big brown bear, blue bear, beautiful babboon biking backwards..." Yea, I have read it so much I STILL have it memorized.

My first daughter LOVED a book called If You Were My Bunny and has been passed down to daughter #2. It requires me to sing new words to traditional lullabies. Its super cute.

Aw, he's adorable! Going to be very popular with the ladies.
The only book I can recall from my youth was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss. Loved that book.
And what exactly is First Book of Sushi. I'll have to look that one up.

My mom says that I loved the book "Hunkey Dorey". She says I carried it with me everywhere. She swears I eventually ate it.

My favorite book as a little baby was "Pat The Bunny". It's hard to find the original version with the spiral binding, now it's more commonly made as a board book. My mother always gave it as a new baby present. Your little guy is adorable!

What I really remember are the books I loved once I learned to read, like Little House and Caddie Woodlawn (one of our dos is named Caddie) and all those biographies about famous people written very simply (and, I suspect, pretty fiction-ally). Of course, I only read the ones about girls!
