man oh man. i remember when you were pregnant!
new york will be happy to have you. and, do they still have cow stores down there? i remember always being too drunk/tired/hungover/naked to go to the packy in the 80's and we always got booze and cigs at their drivethrough.
ah, the good old days. now i wish they had a store with drive-thru pampers and mustela service ...

Actually, only in the South do you find drive up liquor stores.

The drive-thru windows are for the busy alcoholics. I need a case of Mad Dog, now!
Wow, driving from FL to NYC with a toddler? Definitely play lots of games and have car friendly activities planned. That's gonna be a long drive.
Wow, only 2 more weeks! I'm excited and scared for you!

Have I mentioned how jealous I am of you moving to New York? Yeah well, I am. New Mexico is so far from everywhere at least anywhere good. Baby mogul has gotten so big, what a cutie. You gotta watch out for the beer though, lol.

Erm, no, not only in America. Many (maybe half) of the bottle-oes in Australia are drive throughs. They're like an open-ended garage with fridges. You order, pay, pop the boot, they put it all in your car and you're on your way without getting out of your car. Best invention, ever! We're a long way off drive through ATMs and weddings though ;oP

they had drive through liquor stores when I was a kid, in New Mexico and in Arizona. My grandma used to drive through and buy bourbon.

Even further "up north," in Canada we have the blessed drive-thru liqour stores. In Nova Scotia they are a huge hit!

You have a beautiful child too!
The only place I have ever seen a drive-through LS was in TX!

Nope, no drive thru liquor stores here. But, glad to hear you are making it down to the beach to enjoy a little of the beachiness until you head up North. It has been a little chilly up here this past week, hope it warms up for you a little so you won't get too much of a shock.
