Gun-nut ntpicking time: "Colt .45 caliber automatic pistol" or ".45 caliber Colt automatic pistol", yes. "Colt .45 automatic caliber pistol", not so much. (Yes, the round is ".45 ACP", but nobody ever spells it out like that - especially since pistol describes the gun in this context and it comes across as awkward; kinda like "Walther PPK 9mm Short" would. [Or "Smith and Wesson .38 Smith and Wesson" for an old revolver in .38S&W caliber.] I suggest "Colt .45" for brevity's sake, or even "1911 pistol" for extra gun-fu. I also suggest carrying cocked-and-locked to avoid having to load it at the last minute. I said cocked. Huh.) (Did this actually post or not? It said it didn't, but I'm not sure I believe it.) |

Sunday July 1... Suicide Lounge (which I'm performing in... if you can call what I do performing) and after a 20 minute intermission we are restaging Take End the play I wrote (which sold out 3 of 5 performances at Rogue 07) at the Starline... email me for details. It's a club so you can get your drink on. Er... take that Monday off... really. You may never get this much of lecram in one place ever again. Cheers! |
