I'm with you on this! Steele is the next best hope for the Republican party, with the possible exception of the grass roots folks like us who will not be still, while there is still hope! Good luck to all of us, and to Michael God Speed!
There is nothing like comparisons, to strike fear in the hearts of some, and warm the hearts of others! FDR to conservatives means, failed policy- FDR and Jimmy Carter bring those words to mind! If you are a conservative, or even an American who wants to keep a job, a home and raise a family, fear the new administration, when they or their followers (ie;the MSM) begin to spout likenesses to either of those presidents.

Unfortunately, that picture is from MY front yard. My wife and step-daughter supported Obama. The McCain/Palin and Paul Ryan signs were already taken down.
My greatest concern is not that Conservatism won't come back. It is that the strides that will be made by the Leftists during this time will be 'grandfathered' in so that it will be more difficult or impossible to turn them back. At least the Conservatives really will be able to campaign on the issues of 'hope and change.'
