I'm not some far out there PETA nut. Just making an observation about something I disagree with that's become increasingly popular of late.

On the other hand I love the fact that you rescued yours. Says a lot about your character.

My character was never in question.

Do not assume a creative way to display photos of my beloved dog is an advertisement for pet accessories.

Pets as accessories may bother you, and you have every right to be irritated.

I'm far more concerned about the rampant abuse of animals in puppy mills, backyard breeders and in race tracks across the United States. My own state has a horrendous track record of protecting animals and livestock.

I've seen my share of all of them. As a cop and as a volunteer "humane agent" for my county Humane Society I've had run run ins with all of them, and more. Especially dog fighters.

Sorry if I misconstrued or jumped to conclusion to quickly. I might be a big guy, but I have a soft spot for the little ones that can't defend themselves.
