Thanks for the link. We've got to keep the momentum of the Tea Parties going. The entrenched interests pushing an ever more expansive, expensive and intrusive government are tireless and relentless.

Philly is turning around. Two years ago I posted about a July 4 "Free Mumia" rally. No such event this year, as far as I can tell.
I can't make it, but some people I know are going to the Chicago Tea Party.
Have a great 4th!

Those Free Mumia people are mostly from out of town anyway. One or two lunatics from Philly, the rest bused in from who knows where. Once in a while they march around City Hall chanting something stupid, get ignored by absolutely everyone, then go away. Their mistake is to do their protests in Philly, where most people know who and what Mumia is. They would, and probably do do better somewhere else where people know shyte about the case.
The crowd estimate for Independence hall is way too low; when I was there around 3 PM it was -- wild guess here -- about 2000 people. The Love Park event -- about a mile away in Center City -- was smaller, about 250-300 there: http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=browse-...&p=1&
