what i meant is that, you liked the name mirza and you like the name eskandar. and then you joined the name together.
but then you called him a totally different name from the ones you picked for him. ya! (okay now i got my question right?)

for the comic effect, he plays around with colour effect (e.g. hue/saturation etc etc) dia tak guna filter watercolor ke apa ke langsung. for more info, can ask him thru flickr.
i believe the technique is called HDR, made popular by dave hill. if you google him, bole belajar terus from him.
