And it bothers me also. I'm getting pretty sick of the anti-military slant in most of the news. Do they think it will stop terror attacks if the military would just come back to US and say, "ok, we'll just 'practice' war on terror from now on"?
.."Fraggings" in Viet Nam were not just reserved for the higher ups..it could happen to any one..and they were not usually preformed with out just cause..Unfortunate..but true..Viet Nam was different because no one I knew wanted to be there..So we weren't just fighting an "enemy"..we were also fighting an unjust system..An act of betrayal could result in a "fragging"..in a land were you relied on your fellow Marine/Soldier to stay alive.."If you are not with us..you surely must be against us"..It was another time..another war..I will not try to justify it..It was a part of the Viet Nam scenario and mystic..

..Just yesterday..what I am most impressed with is the Iraqi's themselves..That take charge type attitude..I just have to give them a big "Atta Boy"..They want to take charge and run their own affairs..and I believe hate these "bad guys" as much as we..I think we are seeing a big turn around in Iraq..I truly believe that..Can we as a Nation just hang on to that for just a while longer for the sake of those that have served to this point..I would hate to see our government bail again..That leaves an ugly taste in one's mouth..and it never really goes away..Thank You all for your service..Semper Fidelis..

I can tell you that news of this sort bothers me as well. I quit watching/listening to the MSM because of their left-wing BS. They would rather talk doom and gloom, and how this is an unjust war, yadda yadda yadda. Why? Because they are wrong and mad that thier man isn't in the White House appeasing everybody and their half-brother. If the MSM and Commiewood had their way, this wouldn't be the U.S. of A. but some elitist spa for the French or the very same people we are trying to stop from hurting our nation again. Know that there are good people, here in the good old U.S. of A. that believe and support you and the military and are THANKFUL for the service you do in "Standing the Wall."

The reason there's very little positive news about Iraq is that there's so little to report. The situation's a disaster and there's no big turnaround coming. Those who think there is have their heads firmly lodged up Dick Cheney's a**. The war is making Americans less safe at home, too.
