How does God view Visual Basic or Microsoft Excel "programmers"?

This is very Chestertonian, as I am sure your Holiness is familiar with his book on St. Thomas Aquinas:
"No sceptics work sceptically; no fatalists work fatalistically; all without exception work on the principle that it is possible to assume what it is not possible to believe. No materialist who thinks his mind was made up for him, by mud and blood and heredity, has any hesitation in making up his mind. No sceptic who believes that truth is subjective has any hesitation about treating it as objective."
The really amazing thing about computers are they are strict ritualists, as I am also sure your Holiness has observed.
Hence, there is something very interesting about the term you mention. Only our Enemy wants us to think of "God's code" as "Morals++": for not only does this symbol mean that the Morals value changes, but even worse, it means that the value of Morals is different once we have examined it!
Indeed, this "Morals++" term might be exactly what your Holiness is searching for: a "code" of relativism. Also, it's lots shorter and easier to type than that sqrt(1-(v*v)/(c*c)) thing the physicists use.
Possibly we might expect a new encyclical on this?
Begging your forgiveness if I have offended in any way, and offering my talents in your service, I am
Paradoxically yours,

M.Z. Forrest,
Your query does not pertain to the Deposit of Faith, so I cannot say for sure how God would view various programmers. However, if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say that He would probably put the term in quotes as well.

Thank you for the GKC cites and the commentary, but more importantly, thank you for reminding me about my encyclical! I’ve been so wrapped up in musing; I’ve neglected the heavy stuff.
Anyway, the topic of my encyclical is top secret; the only other soul alive who knows what it is about is Chico, and he won’t talk.
You can be sure that when it is ready for publishing I will post it here.
God bless you

Papa,
Thanks for helping me to open a conversation with my children who understand video gaming and computers much more readily than they want to try to grasp natural law and relitavism.
We had a very spirited discussion about relitavism when I told him about your blog. He seemed intrigued. He is going to take it under advisement and get back to me.
Perhaps for once you have found a way to break into this generations mindset. For this I am eternally grateful.

for the sake of clarity in the above comment I should have mentioned it was my son with whom I was conversing and not all of my children.

Maggie,
You said, “Perhaps for once you have found a way to break into this generations mindset.”
Is that your way of saying that I have thus far been a failure in reaching out to the youth?
LOL, I’m just kidding. Never mind my German sense of humor, child; I just couldn’t resist, and it afforded me the opportunity to say ‘LOL’ again. That is fun.
Anyway, dear child:
Please don’t credit my humble musings for your fine parenting; you are to be lauded for imparting the Faith to your children and being solicitous in finding opportunities to do so.
When speaking about your children you used the word “all”. Given the context, I read that as meaning more than two and most likely more than three. Applying a little German ingenuity, I browsed your blog and discovered that you have been blessed with five children, two of whom are double blessings. Congratulations, I tip my miter to you.
May God bless you and your family.
Papa
