Here is a place to let your words do your talking for you.

Ahh, don't worry about it. Sundays are ALWAYS dead when it comes to site hits. Don't you know our viewing public is off to church praising the Lord, mynym?

For some reason I'm getting "Server not found" for your site all the time now. It's odd.

You've got a great site going on here.

I'm interested in ID, but it's a hard conversation to keep up in person but works well for blogging.

Some issues are better dealt with in different mediums/media and the issues of philosophy and science brought up by ID are probably some of them. If you're engaging in personal therapy or some such then I suppose it is best to do the meet and greet where you can rely on personal touches in dealing with communication and information such as: "They saw the way I just raised my eyebrow at the end of that sentence and I even raised my voice with it, just so! So now I know that they know what I mean...or somethin'." There are faults with such notions though, given that someone may happen to have pointy eyebrows that always look like they are raised or perhaps a high pitched voice that always sounds high.

Yet some almost seem to think that it is a superior form of communication anyway, or that text is more alienating*. They may be correct in some sense about that last, yet still wrong in minimizing text and writing. If speech really was superior in every way then mathematicians would get together and just talk equations out into the air, and civilization would not tend to rise with the written word based on its symbols and signs of design and so on.

Of course, you can make use of speech by vibrating your vocal cords and speaking out a message using the air as a medium, while hoping that someone has an ear to receive it before it disappears into thin air. What an ear it is that can let a mind hear, it picks out information through utterly minute changes in the atmosphere and the like by design. So it can pick up the murmur, the yelp and the mumbled jumbles of speech. But when no one has an ear to hear a message then it truly is like a mist that is here and gone.

*Anyway, narcissists who constantly engage in therapy could probably stand a little alienation from themselves. Write that down.
