Wait a second, I have a sneaking suspicion that Mynym could wipe the floor with me in any real time strategy game a la LAN party then sit down and write a dissertation on the Importance of Being Earnest in one's search for Intelligent Design.
Surely, this test wasn't designed to measure the depth and breadth of Mynym's nerd expertise just like it skipped over my high marks in too much anime category.
I still think my score, although not high, was higher than it should have been. Andy's probably right about the test being flawed.

If yes then no nerd-o-meter has yet been devised which can measure how much of a nerd you are.

I suspect that it was the computer stuff that put me over the edge.
Most bloggers have to be nerdy to some degree, which is probably why many seem more intelligent and creative than average. Fortunately "nerds" often don't have high self-esteem growing up and so often enjoy some of the benefits of esteeming oneself less at a time when learning is important. The meek shall inherit the earth and all that.
Ironic though, how the focus in American public schools is often making sure that kids have high self-esteem given that being overly satisfied with oneself can lead one toward being fat and stupid. For instance, it seems that there haven't been many morbidly obese geniuses...yet I meander.
hmmm...i thought we were finished on this post but apparently there were further insults that i missed. you know dare well that i have blogged at all hours of the night. it is more a reflection of insomnia than nerdiness, methinks.
