I sort of gave up on giving, wholly, but years ago. I realized nothing I said was of any import. Those "fill out this form and send us money" shtick was an abomination which decided the thing even quicker. As well, the weakening of the anti-abortion platform, the near abandonment of pro-family, pro-familyfarm, at least impartiality to religion (Christianity), and several other issues which the party has backed out of, while placing gay men and other whiznuts in positions of party power have lead me to abandon the whole rat infested sinking ship. Some messes do not deserve the money it takes to keep them afloat.
As for individual members, they will be forced to share their treasuries, one way or another, with the rhinos anyway, so, no, they get nothing either. This tent IS NOT that big. I'm waiting. I am waiting outside that tent until they kick the communists, socialists, feminists, queercentrics, and other skunks out. *tap* *tap* *tap*

Ab-so-fucking-lutley. The GOP became dead to me when they abandoned fiscal conservatism, decided that border security was a 'nice to have' item, and the final straw was weighing in on the DC side in the recent supreme court case.
Oh, and Newt has shown himself to be a COMPLETE idiot by jumping on the glowbull worming bandwagon. His weaseally abandonment of the contract with america because he was chasing the next Mrs. Gingrich was proof enough that thes people care not a bit about America, only their own pocketbooks and (ahem) personal needs.
These RINOS are just as crappy as the dems they replaced, and I'm only giving my hard earned cash to conservatives.
The alternative is the Dems run rampant. That's a prescription for revolt.

I have three liberals to chose from
none of which wants to drill in Anwar
none of which want to control the border
one of which won't surrender
all of which love the NYT and liberal press and TV
One of which has a wife that hates the USA and is one mean bitty.

Good call Ragnar - I think it's very important for us to sit this out or 'throw away our vote' on some third party candidate. It's ridiculously important to get a Democrat in the White House, so this shit storm that has been building comes down on their head. I'm sick of having socialist and big-government neoconservative policies being labeled as 'conservative' and 'free-market' when they fail so miserably. I want some of this country's massive problems blamed on the actual causes - socialist policy. Only way to do that, is have a Democrat in office.

Not a single penny from us in two years. We are not rich people and when we donate we sure as heck want the $ to be spent in a responsible way with a responsible organization.
Give $ to the DNC/RNC knowing they couldn't give a rip about what we think or any other conservative thinks? Hell no and HELL NO!

You guys claim to all be fiscally conservative but I can't recall anyone complaining when the Republicans decided to borrow all of the money to pay for Iraq, mostly from the Chinese. Not a whimper as our currency lost about 50% of its value in 7 years versus the euro. Everyone following in lockstep the Republican mantra even going as far as approving the 500 million dollar "Bridge to no where". Fiscally conservative means paying for the war, not leaving it for another generation to pay.
As for the coming tough times, yeah they are coming but Americans are not going to put all of the blame on the Democrats.
As far as November the Democrats will probably pick up only about 1/2 as many seats as they did in 2006, maybe 10-15, and they are heavily favored to also take the White House.

Why is it John Ryan that you think the conservative base is unhappy with our nominee? Why do you think we are not donating to our party? MUCH has to do with spend, spend, spend.
And as far as the bridge - that too was a supposedly conservative politician who when he couldn't get it passed via pork just put the $ for it in highways or some other bill and walked away with our $.
We are not blind and we ARE pissed!

I will do as always and give them my $2,000. I am very unhappy with McCain being the choice but any republican is better than the other two socials. Perhaps other noted party members can guide McCain. I'm still hoping for a VP like Romney. McCain doesn't look healthy.

The greedy, money-grubbing, vote-for-us-because-the-other-side-is-worse Republican Party treats "conservatives" like Democrats treat blacks, and 91% of "conservatives" keep voting Republican.
Give up on the idea of political parties. Build Coalitions of the Like-minded instead. Become a non-hiearchical, entrepeneurial, distributed swarm of attacking Irregular Culture Warriors, making life miserable for Cultural Marxists, multi-culti carbon dispensationalist tranzies while providing aid and comfort to American Exceptionalists, rugged individualists, Constitutionalists, and the rest of the bitter clingers who have turned their backs on the Republican party but yet cannot abide what the Democrat Party has become.
Don't vote for incumbents. Period.
What are you "conservatives" trying to conserve?
