Weekend:
Idot sister gave us her dog to look after while she went and got pissed. Dog doth not like the explosions, so 'fun'.
Usual dreary work thing. Seconds of entertainment.
'Home Ec' for me please. Halloween was spent watching 'Dead Set' (mmmmm zombies...) and being at the simmering point just beneath rage because my young gentlemen was threatened by some chav scum because he wouldn't give their spawn something when they bellowed 'trick or treat' in his vague direction. He had to call the police because they were shouting abuse through his letterbox. I'm still very angry...

Tzonar: This might be a very nice surprize though... And that sounds like a fab way to spend a weekend, btw

wild-seven: Oh dear. You should do what I do and make the place look as dark and scary as possible. I haven't had anyone knock at my door on Hallowe'en for years now.
Which is nice.
Home Ec, as I also do not like surprizes. Halloween weekend spent comforting the traumatized cat who DID NOT LIKE having the doorbell rung and strange creatures demanding candy. Also saved one young man's treat-gathering by handing him an old plastic CVS bag I was going to recycle to use for his collection insteat of the tiny sandwich ziploc bag he had brought.
The cat is still acting goofy. Goofier than usual, that is.
Weekend - ominous warning light on haunted car of doom. Might be time for a new one.
