I think Galveston is a beach. A dirty and disgusting one, but still a beach. And, give it a break. The whole island was underwater once.

My husband and I also spend much time on vacations deciding which house we would buy if we ever had enough money to live where we vacation. We have selected a villa in Mexico and a lovely townhouse in downtown Charlston, SC. Fun!
This post seems a lot like the one I wrote about "what would you give?" for a recent Hump Day. It also is the sort of conversation my wife and I have pretty regularly. If we just sit and talk for long, invariably it turns somewhat cerebral. I may be the chief reason, since I'm such a geek, but my wife loves it, too, I think.
