Rob used to travel quite a bit and I got really used to it, so much so that it was weird when he was around, almost like he was a guest.

my husband travels in spurts. at first i'm sad when he leaves then i'm so happy that i don't have to cook, the house can go to shit and i wear the same thing for days on end. the kids don't care.

"13 Going on 30" is one of just a handful of movies I've watched alone. But I have no problems with the eating cake/frosting/a whole tray of muffins alone, and in my pajamas.

I love those days where you don't have to get dressed. Even better in winter when the sun goes down earlier! And by 5, it's drinking time.
