Why do they need their own cemetery?

'If a Muslim dies, he may be buried anywhere possible, even if in the cemetery of non-Muslims, for Allah does not burden a person beyond his ability. In this case, burying the Muslim in a cemetery of non-Muslims would not cause him any harm, for what will benefit the Muslim in the Hereafter will be his endeavor and righteous deeds and not the spot where he is buried. Almighty Allah says, (And man can have nothing but what he strives for…) (An-Najm 53: 39). Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Land does not sanctify anybody, but a person’s own deeds sanctify him.” ( Mentioned by Malik in al-Muwatta' (no. 2232) with the word “man” instead of “person".'

That's their own words
.

Cemetery eh! That must mean there'll be a fucking great mosque going up as well then.

Gravatar This comes as no surprise to us who like to keep our heads above the sand. But to those who are just waking up and wondering what the hell's going on, let's have a look at the 'British Muslims Monthly' 1999

A new community centre has been set up in Barnsley, and has pledged that it will serve all believers in the town, and not just those from one ethnic group. The Al-Quba centre appeal lasted four years and raised £50,000 to allow the centre to be built. Dr Khalid Mir, speaking to about 80 members and guests, told of how there were few Muslims living in Barnsley when he arrived in 1974, but now the community is in its third generation. (where's the 1st and 2nd generation buried?) It has also become truly multi-ethnic as Muslims from Africa and America have also settled there along with the great numbers of people from the Indian subcontinent. He said that in the long term, the centre hopes to establish a proper mosque and will lobby for the introduction of halal meals in schools and hospitals (Q News, No301, 01.02.99). [BMMS February 1999 Vol. VII, No. 2, p. 5]

That was Barnsley 1999..let's have a look what we can find in 2009..oh, i've found something.

Customer and Neighbourhood Services Directorate.

BEREAVEMENT SERVICES
Key Finding..Consultation with Muslim community through BEMI has identified the reasons for non use of our service by Muslim community. Currently consulting with BEMI and the Muslim community through a working group. Suitability of land acquisition to be advised by this consultation and action taken accordingly to ensure a service provision which meets the needs of our Muslim community.

Planned action..Expand on existing pilot work with BEMI to include VAB to identify other potential gaps in knowledge. As an almost monopoly provider it is likely all groups other than some minority faith groups are using the service
Identify any specific requirements not currently provided and raise awareness of service provision
Continue existing work through BEMI to identify and ensure minority faith needs are fully met.

Well that's ok then, as long as the minority faith needs are fully met.

That's not equality..that's sticking two fingers up at people who would have never agreed to be part of an evil experiment . I don't want to live in a socially engineered society and i don't want my kids to grow up in one either. If we feel like second class citizens now, how will our future generations feel and how will they be treated?
That's a legacy i don't want to leave.

Islamification of Barnsley?...over my dead body.

Gravatar it's in the Barnsley Chronicle today
