This obviously prearranged attack on our right to stand as a legal political party has done more good for Barnsley BNP than these idiots from the left could ever imagine, our membership enquiries have launched to record levels and donations are still coming in fast.
The UAF accomplished their goal (to an extent) by disrupting our paper sales in the town centre, albeit for 5 ‘mere’ minutes. Because of this disruption we have decided to split our activists into smaller groups and cover more of the town centre and also spread our sales to the larger villages within the borough. We should have at least 6 groups out selling papers and distributing leaflets every weekend. With more and more activists coming forward we can spend this time in town on a regular basis where in the past we have had to shuffle our resources to suit our needs.
The candidates and our organiser who were present at the time of the attack are now more determined to continue the fight for freedom than they were before. I salute them all.
Summary: We will not be deterred by thuggery, violence or any other misdemeanours that the so called ‘Anti Fascists’ throw in our direction. However, we will double our efforts and spread our resources whenever the scum that came to Barnsley ever show their wretched faces.
This incident demonstrates once again that when politically motivated thuggery occurs in this country it is almost always comes from the left and not 'the right.' Did the Barnsley press/ local radio give appropriate coverage of this disgraceful incident?

On Wednesday 31st October 2007, the BBC are airing a programme 'exposing' Redwatch on their 'Inside Out' programme, to be shown at 7.30pm.
