Not sure if this can help, but the last time I had such a virus on my phone (many years back), there's a simple solution (but not sure if it works now). Basically take the SIM card out of the virus-infected phone, insert a different one (borrow from anyone), on it, off it, and switch back to your own SIM card. |

Am doing something related to SMS in work, so am able to remember the data packet structure now, not that I am so hardcore to track down the error by itself. |

icic... I just realized it's a Siemens phone, so maybe the firmware upgrade might get rid of the problem. In any case you can use my method too after the firmware upgrade and see how it goes. |
