If you get the choice, I'd try to get something other than the elephants.
Sheer volume you understand.

That byotch does the George Costanza thing? I'm having a hard time getting past that.
I don't get it... why do senior managers not get that the supervising part of being a supervisor is so critical?
She sounds like a winner.
The poop job at the zoo probably wouldn't be so bad as long as you're wearing a heavy duty gas mask. But I think your supervisor is better suited for that job -- no people skills required.

Working for beyotches (female OR male) is the worst. I'd say look around and see what's out there. Make a change!

"bitch slap this assclown" - now that is a classic!
For some reason, people are always promoted to their level of incompetence - meaning, she was probably great at her previous job, where she didn't have to supervise people, so then she moves up to a supervisory position and she sucks. That's why there are so many baaaad managers around.

True Jersey girl just said what I was thinking about "bitch slap this assclown." Very poetic Nat!
Sometimes the worst people are the supervisors. And they NEVER seem to have good people skills. Life is too short to let those crapola skanks to get under our skin you know? I agree with you that maybe moving on is the way to go. There are bound to be other companies who would snap you up in a heartbeat!
Best of luck Hon.

tommy: yes, that's a LOT of volume!
Marie: I'm ready to ship her out to the zoo!
Paula: Yes, there are certainly male beyotches, but I don't work for any! (our guys are mostly nice!)
Jersey Girl: You're on to something with your theory. So MANY supervisors I've had over the years have been awesome right up until promotion!
LisaB: "crapola skanks" That's great! I kept away from this one today, so the entire day was better. I overheard her telling a customer,"My day has not been sweet." Like the customer CARED about that! tee hee.

Ugh. Just ugh. I've got my toes crossed that you'll be able to find something else as good, if not better!

Well that's just poopy.
Keep us posted on what you choose to do, nat. You deserve better, that's for sure.

That's one advantage to working in education. You're co workers, annoying or not, are kept at arm's length. Unless of course you count the students as co workers. Then there's nothing you can do about that.
