Gimme Some Moe!

I think I screamed out to my sister "Sis ,,TURN THAT DOWN"......lol............
It scared me too............
Barry burnt down Johnny and June Cash's house down here on the lake.......

Gravatar What? Is he going to put up some sort of House Of Gibb instead? That's just WRONG!

Gravatar Interesting. The chant is either an example of simple plainchant or an attempt to sound like simple plainchant, which is the oldest type of the oldest formally written music, aka Gregorian Chant. Always religious in nature, it was usually quite somber, thus the perceived creepiness.

As for the rest, pretty typical fare for the time. I can't settle on what it reminds me strongly of, probably because there so many things it's similar to (although as I write this, the Hollies' "Air That I Breathe" just jumped right to mind). It's a good reminder that they had more than one style before settling on disco.

As for the other two guys, I found a list of former members on the bottom of this page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bee_Gees

and I bet they are the two on the top of the list.

Gravatar Yeah, I bet they are on that list.

ANd, lol, from that wiki article
"Many DJs immediately assumed this was a new Beatles single and started playing the song in heavy rotation." They don't really sound that close to The Fabs, but I can see how that mistake could have been made back in the days before superior technology and in the days of Beatle frenzy.

Gravatar I think I am one of the few who likes the Bee Gees' early work as much as their later output (disco and post-disco). Probably my favorite tunes from the early days are "Holiday" and "Spicks and Specks".
