You could tell him to remove your name from the MS (or move it lower on the list to 2nd or 3rd or whatever) and let him handle the revisions, etc.

Alas, I did 95% of the experiments. Sigh. Xanthophyllipa, I think he's going to get more or less that... aaagh. I feel kind of responsible, except, not.

When faced with a similar situation, in which I had two remaining manuscripts to poop out 1+ years after my defense, my mother told me to suck it up and finish them. She reminded me that once those papers were out, I could sever all ties with my adviser and stay classy. Still, it took me a long time to get them out because of my lack of motivation!

Um, could always send it to a journal that will accept it more or less as is?
Personally, I'm with the person who said just suck it up, but I will add the qualifier that as long as it's not asking for a ton of work to address the reviews. If so, then see above suggestion.
