I went to the Dodger game last night. They own 4-0, so that made me really happy. I've been cleared for a few months already to visit a friend at Tehachapi state prison. I still need to go visit him because he won't be getting out anytime soon.
what counts as a "nonviolent" or "nonserious" felony?
anonymous: many felonies, such as drug posession, theft offenses, and DUI (without injury)are really misdemeanors that become felonies because of a prior. Those would be examples on nonviolent/non-serious offenses that are sending three strikers away for good.
ouch! a washed-up coal and oil mining town? maybe you should give coalinga another chance. i'm sorry your reason for visiting was the prison. coalinga has a lot more going on than that. who knows...stop somewhere other than a gas station and a prison and you might actually like the place.
