For a moment I thought the provided commentary was the work itself. Perhaps I was disoriented, having my perceptual systems articulated and all.

We desperately need to get past this idea that slinging dire theorybabble with gay abandon is an adequate substitute for substantive, interesting work that can stand on its own merits.
