NEWS fLASH.
This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan, the Taliban Minister for
Emigration, Mohammed Omar, warned Australia that, if military action against
Iraq continues, Taliban Authorities will cut off Australia's supply of
convenience store managers.
And, if this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be
next, followed by Telstra customer service reps, dole office workers and
Queensland doctors.
It's getting ugly folks!
Abu Dhabi, not only sounds great when you say it, but is a fab airport that triggers fond memories of 70's National Geographic illustrations of futuristic airports. It's a joy with jet lag.
The blue and green tiles are surreal as you trip your way into the transfer lounge, no escape, but it's ok. The airline of abu dhabi,etihad, have a very notable change of costumes for their hostess on the australian route (3 outfit changes) These are reminiscent of the Thunderbirds. Those hats they wear are the best thing I've seen for a long while.
I went to see Hans Kreiner's work at The Project Space yesterday and it knocked my socks off! In my former I compared his work to that of Peter Callasen - but Hans medium is not exclusive to paper - or any particular material. If you ever get the chance do check out the work of Hans Kreiner. This week the Bargain Box will be doing a write-up on Hans' solo exhibition "Quiet Hands" at CACSA's Project Space.

Oi fucked up - Hans solo show is/was not "Quiet Hands" - that's the name of a group show he is in at Gaff gallery in Port Adelaide. *sigh* Yes, I had a "seniors" moment - sorry. Hans' solo exhibition at CACSA's Project Space: CRUNK-ITECTURE. TAL was in Addie recently? Did TEAM AL see this?
