Gravatar And of course Progressive Democrats wouldn't say anything of the sort should this sort of thing happen to Dick Cheney, or Bush.

The irony here is that you took this opportunity to pick out and point out the inconsiderate comments (among many decent ones) of another faction of politics - That is, you took this opportunity to politicize a man's ill wife. How are you any better?

Gravatar Thank you for your lack of reading comprehension.

My point was at the end. Did you read that far? Can you read critically.

Mouthbreather I was suggesting that these deplorable comments wouldn't be taken as an indictment of every conservative in the same way that random posts on Huffington Post and Daily Kos are taken as indictments of the entire left.

When people wished bad things of Cheney as anonymous posters on Huffington Post, there was two days of coverage of it. There will be no coverage of these posts though.

Thanks for visiting. I hope to see you again.

Gravatar If I found out tomorrow that Dick Cheney had cancer, I don't think I'd be able to be nice about it. On the other hand, I don't think Elizabeth Edwards has ever, ever done anything to match the amount of pain and suffering Dick Cheney has managed to inflict upon the world, and that makes a big difference to me.

Nota bene to the press: This comment is the responsibility of a single crotchety Canadian of indeterminate political orientation relative to the United States. It is in no way representative of "the Left" in general. Thank you.
