I use to really love "Imagine" when I was young, ignorant and didn't care about anything really, except i was caught up in my emotions.
The utopian ideal always sounds good in the mind, but when I finally realized the song was Lennon's expression of rebellion against reality, having no reality in his utopia.
Lennon was a very intelligent man, capitalizing on the mindset he'd helped create. That truth ought to be exposed to every Lennon groupie all over the world, those who are almost always the liberals of this world who just can't come to grips with reality themselves. Afterall, Lennon only was interested in selling records, that thing that assured him the public spotlight in this mixed up society that applauds heathenism. John and Yoko in the forefront.
