Years ago I heard a wise old preacher make a profound statement that has stayed with me all these years. He said, "In my humanity, it's difficult for me to reason why good people die, injustice rules and some things just don't make any sense in this world." He went on to say, "If I was God, I would have blown this world to hell a long time ago. But, I am finite, he is infinite. The only way I can make sense out of all of this is that I know that the Lord of the Universe will right every wrong, make everything straight in the end. That is the only way I can put it into perspective without it messing up my thoughts!" I agree with him totally. This world doesn't make sense without the Lord. And...because of the fall, for now, things don't always add up, but God is still on the throne and he knows what he is doing!
