Thanks for the blog comment! I so enjoy your blog, and also feel the 'kindred spirit.' Fifty has been great so far (ha ha, it's been a week!) I had a surprise party on Sunday, and put up pictures.

Thanking God for you especially today, as it's the two year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. We wanted to go and help through Samaritan's Purse (my brother was able to serve with them, and my husband went with them for one of his five trips), but just couldn't connect at that time. Your blog, as I've mentioned before, pointed us to Lakeshore, Mississippi, and our several church trips made great impacts in our people's lives. The Lord used you that way.
