I have not watched the regular news in a long time. For one thing, it's not news. It's speculation, gossip, negative, and irrelevant most of the time. I did add GoodNewsDaily.com to my link list. Thanks for hooking me up! I don't want to be ignorant of current events, I just want zero negative spin. I also want more than just headlines and a story full of nothing.

Great idea for a TT. Sometimes I have to avoid the news because it's just so depressing. Is the world really getting worse or is it just that we know so much more because of instant technology sharing all the evil? It's nice to see the good as well and recognize the blessings!

Thanks for the tip of the good news place. I plan to visit it often. I have also stopped watching the depressing news, and Sunday's paper is only purchased for the TV section and the coupons!

Thanks for sharing all the good news. I agree -- all we seem to get is bad news. That's actually why I often watch my local news (that isn't all that great) versus my other two news choices which are from our state capital. It seems on that one, the first 2 - 6 stories are always about murder or violence that has happened that day.

Because of the barrage of bad news that we get hit with on a daily basis, it's good to read positive stories for a change. Even though I knew the outcome was good, I still breathed a sigh of relief when reading the story of the mail carrier who caught the falling baby.

Personally, I don't think the economic hit that exotic dance clubs have taken is necessarily a good thing. My philosophy is that the employees there have to eat just like the rest of us. However, I can understand why people would forgo exotic dance clubs in favor of the necessities.
