"Pro life" Bozell obviously has no problems with Coulter's statement about carpet bombing Islamic countries and another comment about how McVeigh should have blown up the NYTimes. This is the kind of homicidal ideation that, if said by a high school student, would then involve counselors and possibly police. Bozell is such a moralistic creep who thought that the presence of "alleged" (his words) male escort Jeff Gannon, at White House press conferences, was a "teensie weensy" (who talks like that?) scandal. He also has a website which advises conservative parents about which tv programs are unsuitable. He warned of Boston Legal which (gasp) showed unmarried people in bed together. Yet, he has no problem with Ann's psychotic comments. His conservative uncle must be appalled - call Buckley what you want - he's not a religious zealot. And even though my former senator Linc Chaffee was a republican who had to go, he is a wonderful person and advocates for many of the things that I believe in (the environment, reproductive rights, etc.). Coulter's comment about his assassination was very offensive.

She also clearly points out that Williams comment was taking out of context.

I generally don't comment on people's appearance, and this is not meant to describe Coulter's looks, but her outlook. She is ugly.

Her hateful, vile, smear-filled rhetoric deserves not defense, but society's disdain. Her biggest fear is being ignored, yet with each passing day, her partisan hate-speech further marginalizes her.

Ugliness aside, it is a sad commentary on our media that they continue to give her a forum for her fact-less smears. Notice how all the rightwing mediots are circling their dwindling wagon train? Their influence has waned, and they fear their real irrelevance will be exposed.

[A friend sent me the link knowing I met Ted Nugent way back in the '60s when he practiced in the garage of drummer David Palmer, both of The Amboy Dukes, who lived 5 houses from me.]

After climbing a 14,000 ft peak this morning, Longs Peak to be exact, a trek taking 14 hours, gave me time to kick a few ideas around. Interestingly enough one of the many topics I selfspoke was the hate that the media is amping up.

I totally agree with Ed. She should be totally ignored. Her comments are just to provoke and attrct publicity to herself. Yeah I lived in Nederland for eleven years, hence the tag EdfromNed given to me by friends.

I bailed back in the early 90's, had some serious issues to deal with, women, and roamed, lied cheated and just played the bum for ten years. The recent breakup with a gold digging woman snapped be back to reality and I decide to invest some money where my heart has been ever since I left.

I also own a house in Montana. There's a old girlfriend down in Boulder who will shit bricks if she ever finds out the truth so I'll shut up for now.

So when she say's that Episcopalianism is "hardly a religion" she's being satirical? Somehow, I don't think the Presiding Bishop (who is a woman) would agree. But can you imagine the indignation of the conservative, religious right if Keith Olberman said the same thing about the Southern Baptists. Or can you imagine the indignation of the right wing if Olberman suggested that we poison Judge Scalia? (He would probably get a visit from the FBI!). LOL, yeah, I actually attended Gilpin County HS so we used to play football against Nederland. Matter of fact, a good friend of mine who is a SWAT team member in Denver now, was from Nederland and we used to play against each other. Beautiful area. Have the continental divide etc. We were a little more remote then Nederland but we actually lived near I think it's called Slough pond and Kriley pond. At any rate, that's cool. I haven't been back there in years.

Used to live off of Broadway and Alameda. Hung out at Villa Italia mall. Went to South HS as well. Haven't been back there in a bit. But, definitely miss it.

Ha, Colfax was where all the "working women" hung out. Used to be at Fitzsimmons, and Lowry. The home I used to own was righton the corner of Alameda and Lincoln actually. Alot of commerce there now. When I was there was nothing but open fields and train tracks.

Wow, didnt realize it changed that much. But that is to be expected. My friend who still works with the Sherrifs department there says that it has changed alot.

I miss Denver and the mountains. But, it is probably alot different then what I remember. I grew up near Central City so when I first got to Denver it was to me a big city.

Is there still a big issue with five points?

thats funny considering that I live in Texas now. I know that the Hispanic population has blown up there. I actually moved there back in 1979 and i wasn't that big. But, there was a hispanic side of town, an asian side of town, and alot of that has changed i guess

You aren't missing anything lol. I came here because my wife has family. I used to be stationed here and it so happened that when I met her she wanted to move back here. But it worked out I'm a police officer here now and it gets the job done of working here. Most of my family is either in Missouri, Alaska, Colorado, but I try to get around to those places whenever I get a chance.

I'm going to only spend mostly my winters in Colorado now. I have a place I really call home outside Kalispell, MT acutally between there and WhiteFish.

I had so much shit in storage back in Boulder and I really missed Nederland. Some seriouly distrubed folks live up there but for a really weird time, the next time your in the area go spend a day or so in Ward, about 15 miles north of Nederland on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park. Hiway 72.

Mostly folks from New York. That should explain way most of the locals cal it Weird, Colorardo.
