They did pull their ads months ago and just recently they started to appear on FOX and The Factor again.
I would know this because I have been one of the monitors collecting ad data. We have recieved several letters so far from other readers who recieved the same letter. As I said in the post that's all I know at this point. However, 186, I don't expect to look stupid since News Hounds has been actively working on this project with Brave New Films and we are not uninformed. However, if the stream of letters we recieve all turn out to be fake, I will post that without embarrassment.

As I noted above, Lowe's did drop ads after Shawn Hornbeck issues. In the last 6 to 8 weeks, Lowe's began advertising on O'Reilly again probably to counter the Home Depot ads that were heavy in that slot. When Lowe's first returned,they advertised in a low key manner by pushing a stain or paint and then having a brief mention of their name afterwards. They've become more obvious recently.

Just for the DirecTV connection...

The post about FoxAttacks over at Daily Kos mentioned that Murdoch recently sold DTV to John Malone. Malone is apparently one of Murdoch's least favorite people, and was viewed as possibly launching a hostile takeover of News Corp at some point.

My point is that while we should get DirecTV to pull its ads on The Factor, we should also look into moving to it for TV if the Fox Business Channel gets added to the digital tiers of Comcast and the other two big TV providers.

This supposed letter from Lowe's only states that "The Factor" does not meet their advertising guidelines ( whatever they are? ) anyway I have requested that Lowe's inform me ( a customer ) of the reasons why this has happened, as of yet I only have the word of left wing people nad to be quite honest I suspect a twist of the truth here. I do not believe that Lowe's would jeapordize any customers by getting in the middle of media and politics!!!
Note:
There is no clear name of the person who recieved this letter or a clear name of the person who sent it. For all we know it is just a typed letter on left wing SMEAR sites!!!

I'm wondering why Lowe's has to explain to anyone who they choose to advertise with.

Wingers are all in everyone's business all the time. Who you can have sex with. Who you can marry. You must explain to them personally why you choose to advertise (or not) on some particular program.

For a very short time, after 9/11, I watched BORe. After about a week, BORe's spinning had me so dizzy that I just couldn't watch anymore.

As a "not so politically saavy" viewer, I could clearly see the lies that BORe was spewing. And back then, he wasn't nearly as bad as he is now.

There are thousands more signing petitions and writing letters to the largest corporations for a general withdrawl from FOX advertising. The numbers are growing quickly.

This whole Lowe's fantasy was reported by news hounds back in February. It seems that Lowe's made an advertising shift and the news hounds took that and used it to trick the public into thinking that it was for a story that the factor did on Shawn Hornbeck.
There has not been any official word from Lowe's to confirm the reason other than marketing strategy to target their audience. Lowe's does continue to advertise on the Fox News Channel.

The big Customers for companies like Lowe's is the contractor market -- not some guy buying a new ladder to paint his garage.

If this is true and Lowes drops their advertising because of radical left wing kook pressure, some of the big contractors and homebuilders will pull their business from Lowe's and go to Home Depot or elsewhere. This type of silly kook attack from either side will always backfire.

Some radical kook feminsts went after Snapple for advertsing on Rush Limbaugh, and the product flew off the shelves nationwide as people

If this is true and Lowes drops their advertising because of radical left wing kook pressure, some of the big contractors and homebuilders will pull their business from Lowe's and go to Home Depot or elsewhere.
