Kevin Kerr of Kerr Trading International. Echoing Fox's the-liberal-media-only-reports-the-bad-news theme, Kerr proclaimed that oil is "set to drop $80.00 by mid-May."

Did a unicorn tell him that ?

Or was it a leprechaun ?

What planet is Kevin on,Lovetron? I know it's an election year, but oil and gas will climb to the stratosphere.

Sounds like Kev has been smokin' some good shit.

Nobody hold their breath waiting on that $80 drop.

They been hidding vast reserves in Northern Ireland. Why do think that is such a volital region?

Not to rain on the parade, but are you sure he didn't mean that oil would drop to $80.00 a barrel by May and not that oil would drop $80.00 a barrel? Which, by the way, is still a stupid statement.

they've been hiding it in the vast empty space between fox viewers ears

I agree. Even if he did say it would drop to $80 a barrel is a stupid statement.

That explains all the Fox-bots lining up at the Hummer dealership...

Reminds me of my high school days when I was pumping gas as low as 17.9 cents/gal - that was in '71!
.

did he give a reason for this prediction?

"are you sure he didn't mean that oil would drop to $80.00"

I too suspect that's what he meant.

I too suspect that we will never see oil that (relatively) cheap again.

I was under the impression taht's what he meant. That it would drop "to" $80 a barrel.

At least, taht was my impression when I commented earlier. I can see where it would be misconstrued though.

Wish I could edit my post for clarity.

Finially, Somebody on these sites are talking about oil and gas prices. Everybody in this country needs to write there local congressmen and senators and demand that they not only look into the price gouging but acctually do something about it NOW. I for one cannot afford the gas at the current price without haveing to make sacrifices.

Isn't late spring/early summer when gas prices typically go up? Seems that is what has happened the last few years. But according to Mr. Kerr, that will change this year? Huh.

Here's what the government projects for gas prices (for what that is worth):

It might be worthwhile to check this site out over the next couple of days. It is supposed to be updated on March 11.
