If there's no ransom demands, it might not be about ransom. Perhaps they wanted the hostages themselves, to talk to them about slanted TV coverage or something.

Lack of ransom demands.
Four things:
1) The kidnappers are not too smart and don't understand the whole "demands-resolve" thing.
2) It's not about ransom, but a statement to Fox. A possibly violent statement.
3) There wasn't a kidnapping at all.
4) The two coorespondents got lost in some backwater area. Could have been an accident too,adn no one has found them yet.
It all is very strange IMO. As of now I'm discounting the third option(thought I'm positive in my belief that Fox is capable of a stunt like that) simply because the others at the moment outweigh that one. So I guess it could be three options right now for me.

Could be. I dunno. It just seems that the talking heads on Fox would be pissing their pants over this adn throwing a public fit or something.
I mean, they've never stayed quiet before on this front,so why start now? Sure,it could be that they fear for the journalists lives, but they've nto shown much fear for anyone's life through the last 6 years.

But I'm curious to see if Murdick will pay 'cause although it's not being publicized, the Iraqis who kidnapped these 2 fox employees have asked for money . .

Point of order JTB.
It's not up to John T to prove your assertions. You made the statement,so it's up to you to back it up.
It's like if you said,"I had a thousand dollars in my pocket." whilst wearing rags. You may have had that thousand in your pocket, but from the outside it looks liek there is no way that you'd had your hands on that much in a long while. You have to prove to the disbelievers that you actually had what you say you had,not hte other way around. The opposing party cannot suspend belief based solely on your words. It happens many times, but it isn't by any means a necessity.
So it really does come back to you. If you saw it on Fox,then show your proof.
That's not coming down on you specifically either. That's debate 101.

I see j¢ trying, yet again, and failing, yet again, to paint the NH gals in a bad light. If you want to be technical j¢ she said it has not been covered by Fox News. She did not say that it was not covered by FOXNews.com, did she? (If you can nit, I can pick)
They are two separate identities. As well you know Fox often will report something on their website that they don't report on TV. Especially things that they want to make seem 'fair,' or things, its seems, they don't want their audience to really know.
Now, AFAIK, this site's primary goal is to "watch FOX so you don't have to." It is not "read FOXNews.com so you don't have to." If it was, it would take more than, what, a half dozen or so hard working gals to do?

Everyone, please stop arguing over nonsense. The important facts are that two people are missing and are likely in grave danger. Not whether Fox may or may not have mentioned them between Monday & Wednesday.
Certainly Fox has not given that story the same coverage as they gave the plane diverted to Boston Wednesday morning. My guess is they don't want to give the kidnappers any more attention than necessary when there's no hard news to report. If they bluster too much or give one group publicity when it's actually another it could lead to the deaths of their colleagues.
I don't remember any demands from Jill Carroll's captors the first few days after she was kidnapped either. My recollection is that they waited until they had broken her a bit so they could tape her making the demands.

No, I didn't ignore your previous post, I ignored your logic since it was incorrect. There is no logical correlation between pulling something off the net (likely the first entry) and reporting what Fox News had not said on the air. If she had reported that MSNBC had mentioned on the air would that change anything? No.
And if you want to play this insipid little game, then you are a liar. See, you responded to me and claimed "btw thanks for posting the entire name." Since I did not do that then you are a liar, no?

Everyone -
Pleasae don't engage Johnny Dollar/John the Baptist/Truthteller.
He gets off on dragging out one or two tiny little nitpicky things and then if we don't change it to suit his taste, he runs over to his pathetic excuse for a site and calls us liars.
He is not worth anyone's time.
Most of his comments - written as JTB - have been (and will be) deleted.
His ISP has been banned but, like a moth to the flame, he just can't resist coming back.
The important thing about the post is the welfare of the two people who've been kidnapped.
As for proof that FOX has engaged in a news blackout, a guest was deliberately shut down on Monday and told "we aren't going to discuss that now". I saw it. I heard it. I just can't remember on which show it happened, which is why I didn't put it in the post. The message was clear as a bell. FOX wasn't going to talk about it on TV. And they did not talk about it until the USA Today story came out. Today (8/17) it been given the bare minimum of coverage, only a few sentences in the news updates and a few sentences by each of the hosts.

One question is whether FNC reporters were singled out above others.
If they were, then this may be about the pro-Israel coverage.
I would hate to see them sacrificed (like our troops) because of the policies of those in control of our government and FNC.
