I spent so much time trying to get pregnant...It never occured to me that you then have to raise them! I still don't think I'm ready to be a Mom...and I have two!

I have friends who are parents to a 7-month-old, and he is a handful. I can see my friend the mom struggling to adjust to her new role. She's doing so well, and I always try to convey how much I admire what she's doing.

You said it VERY well! I think some days I STILL cannot believe I'm a mother, and mine are 6 1/2 and 5 1/2!

exactly! pregnancy could in no way prepare a woman for motherhood! it is just so different having your baby on your arms and you hear him crying. being a parent is indeed a fearful yet awesome responsibility, and there's nohing in this world could ever prepare anyone for it...
not to mention the messy and noisy house! ha ha ha ha, but i would never trade life with my kids with a life on my own... Kids bring life to living....

Nap Warden,
Isn't it amazing? It's like we didn't realize what we were in for. Then we go another time and say, wow, we rea....ly didn't know what we were in for.
Kimberlie,
I am glad I found you as well. Thanks for stopping back.
Tammy,
It most certainly is the hardest job in the world. I'd love to meet a mom who really thinks it is easy.
Sparkling,
You sound like an awesome friend to her. And it is so important that we have friends to make us feel better!
Melissa,
Thanks! Me too, I sometimes feel like I am too young; like where did time go ? Just a minute ago I was 16 and in braces myself...
Mental-pause mama,
I think adventure is a great word to describe it indeed!
Jae,
I guess it just goes to show and from what I am reading here from others too is that it really takes us a lot of time to let it sink in.
Gel,
You are so right. I wouldn't trade mine either, they are my joy of joys! And life is all about change.
