Thank you for the update on Peruvian elections. Wouldn't it be so different if voting was mandatory here, too? And on a weekend, no less, to make it easier on the voters! Why not have that here, too??

You should follow with a chart of longevity.
then another showing the percentage of GNP paid on health care.
and perhaps another showing the amount of vacation time enjoyed on average each year per worker.

Oh honey - you lived in Peru? How absolutely wonderful! I have never had that opportunity; though I would love to visit all of South America. I have been lucky with traveling, and seen a great deal of the world; but South America and Africa are still on my list. You should post pictures sometime. I know I'd love to see them!

Eli, Yes indeed they are. I remember reading prior to all the election in Central and South America and wondering which direction they would go in. Well they all went against the president of the US.
