I don't think like-minded folks like us will ever forget how severely Bush f*cked over Katrina victims. But there is such a powerlessness over this situation. While I completely blame the Bushies, no one is making them accountable. I may be scapegoating (I hope not), but I have heard next to NOTHING from MSM on this anniversary of horrific, domestic devastation that continues to be ignored to this day.
And I'll just adjust (in my sappy way) the CSNY song:
"There's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear. Seems to me that nobody cares. Liberal folks speaking their mind. While media just doesn't share..."
It's time to say, "Stop, hey, where's the sound? Nobody sees what's going down."

It is coming...the MSM will be all over it come Monday. Maybe sooner.
And it is never too late for CSNY
We need to keep hammering away on how totally incompetent and inefficient this mis-administration has been and continues to be as they insist on "staying the course" -- over a cliff with no one at the wheel.
They need to be held accountable for all they have done wrong.
And I do hope that there will be a lot of coverage on this by the MSM, (but I'm not going to hold my breath).

I understand why the “racism” meme is particularly appealing as it applies to Hurricane Katrina. While it certainly came into play in the twisted condemnations of the victims spouted by right and even many mainstream commentators, the facts on the ground told a different story.
The far more painful reality is that the failed response had nothing to do to racism. This is how everyone is treated, now.
