Don't feel so bad, Eli. The Missouri state senator in the county next to mine was the worst person a few weeks ago.
She was the one who said "hunger is a great incentive" and wanted to discontinue free school lunches for teenagers who could legally work after school and pay their own way...at least in her own mind.
Who cares if they don't have time to study and fail the No Child Left Behind mandate?
I wonder if we could exile all the really, really idiotic conservative legislators to one state (like, say Idaho) and leave the rest of us in peace.
The problem in Arizona is there are enough of them in the legislature they actually control it. We have a regular conservative Republican as Governor right now and she is actually looking better than she really is just because the legislature is so extreme that she looks good by comparison.
