Why would anyone want to run as a Republican, "light" or otherwise?
And Deeds saying publicly that he would opt out of a public option sounds way too much like all those idiot Republicans who said they would opt out of the stimulus funds for their state and then tried to take credit for them.
Perhaps it's just as well that Mr. Deeds doesn't go the the Governor's Mansion. We can do a lot better than this man as the model of a Democrat in Virginia.
Who needs more incompetence no matter which party they say they represent. We must start recruiting and supporting good progressive candidates especially in the border states.
Let's give citizens a new choice from what they have been saddled with for the past 35 years. Everyone is looking for new options.
He sounds like he's light on intelligence.

I'm not the only one who is tired of phony assed politicians claiming they are something they really aren't.
People who call themselves Democrats and act like Republicans are not real Democrats. They're liars. We have more than enough of those in the political garden. Time to do some weeding.
