So we see another dictator consolidate his power while the whole world watches and he loses his bully pulpit to ever preach to others again. He won but he really lost.

I don't know who looks worse...the old men in the theocracy or the younger ones in the military in Iran. But nobody in Iran trusts either of them now. They no longer command anything but contempt.

The stage is set for something good to come from so much bad. It will take time but it will come.


It still amazes me that they "counted" 40 some million votes by hand, in less than three hours. And even though they admit that there were "some discrepancies" in the vote count, it's still valid... even the so called 10 percent recount sampling.

And they do this with a straight face, in front of the whole world - just like they've done their 5 or so different explanations of who killed Neda. I swear, it's like Baghdad Bob is writing their press releases.
