The birds are back in full force. I hope the bees make a comeback, too, Barbi.
I saw a segment on the nightly news awhile back about local activists across the country learning the art of bee keeping. It's always the grass roots who solve the real problems in life?
I have noticed a decline in the fuzzy honey bees around here over the past couple of years. The big huge bumble bees, not so much. Yikes.
I've not read up on the bee situation for a few months (winter) but I seem to recall that there is an explanation for some of the decline to colonies, one being some kind of mite (varroa?) parasite.
