Palin is announcing that Lt. Governor Sean Parnell will be sworn in at a picnic on July 23.
At a picnic? That's a choice only Palin could have made.
Thank God that Palin never became President. As soon as the heat got turned up in the Oval Office, her response would be to quit. And the women's movement would be set back fifty years.

More information on “grassroots” supporters gathering across the nation to support Sarah Palin for President in 2012 can be found online at www.xxx.com
Note, the website is in danger of crashing due to the flood of readers and supporters signing up to show their interest in a Palin Candidacy. The GOP establishment had better watch out, Sarah Palin and Ron Paul combined with the power of the internet will remove the stranglehold of GOP special interests and the elites who have brought the party to its knees in defeat in the 2008 elections.

Palin/Paul???
Mitchell: Palin told allies she's "out of politics, period"
Maybe somebody ought to let the grass-rooters know.
But I'm not gonna do it.

Good for her. Get out of this morass created by the media. Constant sniping at her and her family. What this country needs is a leader outside of political parties, who is really going to bring a new approach to government. Let's just hope that there is a viable country left to govern.

She would have endangered our national security if she had reached the White House. I'm glad she finally realized that she can affect policy far more from the outside of government.
And I bet the Republican Party leadership is happy she would rather be a conservative rock star, too.
She has that same childlike view on the the world as Michael Jackson but with an entirely different angry buzz. I worry about the welfare of both sets of their children.

Don't say that. The last political corpse to come back from the undead and run for President was.... Richard Nixon.

Oh, no.
Sean Parnell is saying that Palin is "Alaska's greatest gift to the U.S.".
Grrroooaan.
Honestly I'd prefer a fresh cooked Alaska salmon to Palin.

I guess though I should specify WHY a salmon beats Palin:
Salmon: when cooked to perfection, not overdone, but just right.
Palin: Maybe not overdone but definitely overexposed.
Salmon: Once you are done with it the waiter takes the plate away and you can go home and enjoy something else.
Palin: You're never done with Palin. Like Dick Cheney she just. keeps. coming. back.
Salmon: Better when you twist just a little lemon over it.
Palin: Adding lemon to a lemon won't change the flavor.
Salmon: can make your mouth water.
Palin: can make your mouth go speechless in shock.
Salmon: Choice of great appetizers.
Palin: Appetizer last week was Mark Sanford.
Salmon: Can swim upstream.
Palin: flops around like a fish out of the water when she gets asked a tough question.
Salmon: Has a crayola named for it.
Palin: uses crayolas to sign important pieces of legislation.
Salmon: The product of millions of years of evolution.
Palin: Doesn't believe in evolution. Somehow the salmon just up and assembled itself.
Salmon: Packed full of nutrition.
Palin: contains silicone with no nutritional value.
Salmon: Bears eat it.
Palin: Eats the bears.
