Gravatar I am so pleased to see that you posted the Rev's comments. He writes with both eloquence and passion. His message is one that we all need to hear!

Gravatar Hey, {{John Boy}}, it's nice to see you here!

Indeed, Rev has such a wonderful way of getting his message across. And he nails it, everytime.

I greatly appreciate that the Rev allows me the to post his words here.

Gravatar I'm tickled to pieces that anyone would read my maunderings. There's so much would could have, so much we could be as a people, if only we'd take an interest in and put a hand to our own governance. All the tools are there; all the ability we ever need to do more and be more was given to us by the Founders and Framers.

We just have to want to badly enough.

Gravatar Rightwing conservatives only go for the 2nd Amendment, while liberals take on the rest of the Constitution.

It's a division-of-labor thing.

Gravatar The military swears to uphold the Constitution not the government.

That "worthless" piece of paper is all we are and all we can hope to be as free people. It is a living, lasting expression of what we believe. It is not a philosophy or a bunch of laws.

The Constitution is our country. It has no boundaries or limitations. But if it is ignored by our leadership, a part of us dies as a people and a nation.

Rev, thanks for reminding us that it is up to us to perserve it...as our troops understand all so well.
