This was quite a piece of work, and yes Blogger was problematic a good piece of the day. Really beautifully written, and this is what I railed against as far as Jersey's newspapers not making better use of local talent. Difficult to channel Shakespeare so well yet know when to let go to let the vernacular come through. Very nice indeed. Could we please have Gilbert and Sullivan next week?

Varlet! Two links I sent thee
This Friday past; yet
Ne'er hide nor hair of each
I do discern.

Interesting approach, although its not long enough. It could use at least one more link - say, for instance, the one I submitted?

Steven, Suzette - I cry thee mercy!
I'm not sure what happened to yours, Steven. I remember that I grabbed up the Burnside post in particular for the concert bit, but I think we lost your paragraph in one of Blogger's hiccups.
Suzette - I couldn't figure out a way to work your subject matter in there.
I suppose this means an epilogue of some sort tomorrow...

No prob. If it wouldn't fit it yesterday, it won't fit tomorrow either. I'll take a bye.

It was up to you to work in Suzette. It is up to you now to fix your error.
My name is TATA, not Tara. My name is short for 'Tallulah' because I used to go out at night in New Brunswick in fishnets and silk scarves. For fun. What are you doing here?

(A missive to the Powerhouse [Petite],
Reprinted here, before the Dawn does break.)
Thou must to Nitefly's site depart with haste.
The Carnival's in town and merriment
Abounds. I fear our friend is mad. Forsooth,
He does the iambs ply. The verse is blank,
Except from time to time he slips a rhyme,
And then methinks he doth convention break,
For we were taught to make our verses free,
And cursed be those who sputter assonance.
But soft, the hour is late. Go forth with care,
And be thou warned, from one who ventured there.

Tata - I compose in Word, because Blogger has been dodgy lately. You name must have fallen prey to the Auto-Correct. I've gone back and fixed it.

Forsooth, sirrah, twas a loquacious work of much mirth. The Bard himself would doubtless be pleased, even if he never heard of this "New Jersey" of which thou dost speak.
