Gravatar It seems to me that we're told pretty often it is not up to us to know when he will return, and further that we are not to waste our time trying to figure out his exact plan and in effect force him to work according to our schedule.

God rules us. We don't set his watch.

We're not worthy to even wind it for him

Any time someone starts babbling on about how the times are near and I ought to blahblahblah I smile and move away.

Gravatar "But we all know Hillary is the Great Harlot of Babylon, right?"

If so, I weep for Babylon.

Sorry - I couldn't resist. And say, what am I doing in this handbasket?

"We don't set his watch. We're not worthy to even wind it for him."

Heheheheheh. In fact, there's a spot in the Bible where Jesus says that even HE doesn't know when He's coming back, because the Father has reserved this knowledge to Himself. I always figured that if my Savior wasn't going to be told, I really didn't have a right to ask.

Gravatar (Mary) "Jesus, make sure you're home in time for dinner. The haddock will be good enough for Jehovah!"

(Jesus) "Aw heck, mom, I have no idea when I'll be home so you go ahead and eat without me."

hehehehehe
