I was talking to a friend of mine tonight about the situation in the Arab world and how could Arab nations tolerate such ruthless regimes and why they don’t rise up against the tyrants who “roll out the red carpet for freaks line Bush and Rice.” Wasn't Shah of Iran powerful? Didn't he have the army and the Empire behind him? What are they afraid of?
I was lucky enough to attend a meeting when Professor Finkelstein was in Toronto. There were a bunch of Zionists in the audience who tried to disrupt the talk. Now I realize why Zionists are so much against him. He tells the truth and he is not afraid of the consequences.

Hi Mohammad- I don't really get it either, although some say that "the people" are boiling in a lot of those countries and that a major challenge to the tyrants is just around the corner.
As for Finkelstein, i agree, he is an honest and principled man who continues to speak the truth despite the many harsh consequences it has had for him

This was amazing, Niki. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you. It outrages me that some people still blame Hezobollah for Lebanon being invaded by the Israeli government.
