I'm afraid the misogyny Clinton has endured during her campaign is what brought on Geraldine Ferraro's comments about how Obama is lucky to be black at a time like this. As you know, though, Ferraro said it all wrong. Yes, there's a lot wrong with Clinton, but it has nothing to do with her femininity, hair style or wrinkles. She's a DC player who will do A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G. to win. She can verbally flip-flop over the best of them and leave your head spinning so fast that you have no idea the issue was something Clinton had said wrong to begin with.
Um, McCain? To list all of his faults would take a space as big as that thing on his face - though I will mention his pandering to the Bob Jones university types back in 2006 or 07 really showed how low he would go for the nomination. McCain - big weird bulgy thing on his face and all - seemed downright okay back in 2000.
Though I really hope Obama is the Dem nominee, I'll vote for Clinton if I have to in November, as I feel that our President/Commander in Chief should at least know how to distinguish between Shia and Sunni Muslims, big bulge on his face notwithstanding.

I am in total agreement with you. But, I also think that sometimes, a personality in the press transcends the persona of a regular commentator and enters the realm of "looney tune". This may happen quite unfair and unjustly - for instance, as in the case of the now renowned Obama pastor, Wright - but when that happens for whatever reason, the press will simply lose all ability to critique them ... and just pans them as a lunatic.
I think that's what happened with Fatemeh Rajabi. I did not see her being treated with any less fairness than, for instance, Hojatoleslam Hasani (the Friday prayers leader in Uroomiyeh).
I also think this unjust treatment of people in the public eye goes to all minorities. For instance, I don't see the treatment Obama gets any less offending, intrusive or biased.
But, then you compare both Clinton (a woman) and Obama (a black, semi-Muslim man) to McCain (a white man) .... BOOM ... there's a HUGE difference there.
