well now, i'm way older than you and i haven't learned nearly as much. But i would like to comment on some of the thing you've learned:

#3 - no, really, it's you. we've all talked about it and we all know you're going to pretend it's not you - but the vote it is in. it is, in fact, you.

#4 - Somewhere between now and 40, this will change and you will realize - yeah, they are and yeah they do. you will also realize it's the love of a good woman that acts like a stupid, cootie depressant and if you should ever leave them, they will revert back to nature.

#8 Way TMI - i can't the image out of my head.

#7 - I remember quite distinctly waking up on my 40th birthday. the first words in my head were "f--- it, i'm gonna speak my mind." Yep, age has it advantages.

Happy belated birthday!!! You are the best! The things you have learned in 36 years are hilarious! But I gotta say, #7 is the best.

As I'm slighty past the big 5-0, I now feel I'm old enough to start practicing on some folk; starting with how I feel. You know what? It feels great! Especially when they bow their heads for elder status, 'cause y'all know I'm right!

Getting older ain't bad after all. Enjoy!
