I love this. You communicate so much with so little. Can't wait to show it to H.o.p. when he gets up.
Thanks! You know, it's funny, but after I'd posted the drawing and looked at it on the site, I thought of H.o.p. and his drawings. All of a sudden I thought he would totally understand my drawing. I thought you would, too. But mostly I was suddenly realizing that one of the reasons I can see the animatedness in his drawings is because I've got some of that, too. And that H.o.p. is a kindred spirit!
That's very fun.
Your commentary reminds me of when I was young and would occasionally color in coloring books. My older sister said, "Make your own!" That is still one of my favorite things to do.
