Gravatar You definitely hit that on the nail! Perfect aim..... only if our government could see or act like they really care about who is actually fighting for us.... if some of our so called government could just spend one day over there.... maybe our troops would get more recongnized for what they are doing for us.... sitting over here watching football, eating turkey & pecan pie & saying thanks is nothing compared to what our men & women are doing over there. For they aren't with their families, over eating and being lazy watching football.... thanks!

Gravatar mmmmmmmmm and lets not forget our Prozac dear!

Gravatar Im thinking lithium would be a wise choice........
The rift between Iraq's Sunni and Shiite community widened with this month's assault on Fallujah. Many of the Iraqi troops who took part in the offensive were Shiites, and the Shiite hierarchy generally avoided criticism of the attack on the Sunni insurgent bastion.

Gravatar Toni does care about the truth. HER (yes, I am female with a real name) letter to CBS had absolutely nothing to do with this soldier. God bless him and his family. My letter was in regards to the journalistic skills of CBS. It was also to suggest that perhaps a couple more stories to honor our troops, rather than make them look like heartless maniacs, may be a great way to try to unite America.

My father is a Vietnam Veteran and my husband is a National Guardsman who has spent time (and will again next year) in Iraq and Kuwait. Obviously, I care greatly for our US troops.

Miss Boggler, You do have a choice if you do not wish to live in the USA. I would not live in a country that I did not feel was the greatest on earth!

Gravatar Toni, I speak my mind BECAUSE I love my country - afterall, part of what makes this the greatest country on earth is that I have the right to a) speak my mind and b) vote for change. Indeed, if there is anything more anti-American than suggesting those who speak out against evil leave the country, I can't think of what it would be. Those of you prefer a country of mindless dolts who would turn a blind eye when our country commits acts of evil or oppression are truly the ones who spit on the legacy and ideals of our founding fathers. You may prefer a fascist dictatorship but it won't happen on my watch.

Finally, as a vet, the son of a Vietnam vet, the nephew of two uncles who gave their lives in Vietnam, and the grandson of a man who sacrificed his life in Italy, as the father of three beautiful children - it's MISTER Boggler to you.
